We intended to take the Kettle Valley Railway Trail instead of the highway for a more scenic and safer route to the Okanagan Valley. Though the lady at the information centre warned us that it was very gravelly, we went for it anyways. It was indeed too gravelly for our touring bikes. We switched onto the Princeton- Summerland road.
It was pouring rain and we were exhausted about halfway to Summerland. Luckily we had the most warm and welcoming B&B to stay in for the night: Osprey Lake Retreat. It was so nice to use a kitchen again to cook our food and warm up at the wood burning stove.
Was wondering how you would manage glad it worked out

ReplyDeleteAAKKK! So proud of you gals! Sounds exhausting but your smiles show that it's all worth it!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I can fully tell that it's Claire writing these posts- I can practically hear you speaking! (Can you tell that I miss you?)
